From the Marching Forward website:

“Marching Forward” is the history of two dedicated high school band directors—one black, one white—inspired by music to cross color lines in the Deep South and work together for the sake of their students. This courageous cooperation resulted in the experience of a lifetime for Orlando’s black and white students at the 1964 New York World’s Fair.

As part of the animation team for Marching Forward, our team brought stories told be interviewees to life through animation. My particular responsibilities included designing characters and creating assets that would be utilized as 2D puppets, as well as animating a scene in which students from the Edgewater High marching band encounter homelessness for the first time.
